Who could have guessed?  it's another Penny Black stamped card! This card is 5 1/2 X 4 3/4 inches. I used orange glitter paper and ribbon, Standard Circles and Lacey Circles from Nestabilities, Sweet Thing Rubber Stamp by Penny Black and Yellow and Paprika Stickles. To color in the stamp I used Copic colors: E25, E51, C1, Y21, YR02, YR04 and YR07

My Love Affair With Penny Black

Hello Friends,
I know it has been some time since I have blogged, and it always seems to work out that way with me :/ but, it's better late then never! I have been so incredibly busy in my teaching credential program, that I have had to put my craftiness on the back burner. Luckily, this semester is a little less stressful, so I have been able to get some crafting in lately!

Anyways, enough chatter... more crafty goodness!!!
I have realized lately that I have an obsession with Penny Black stamps! More specifically, Penny Black's girl stamps, like Mimi and friends. I just love that Mimi, she is so cute! I wanted to share some of my cards that I have done with the amazing girl stamps from Penny Black. I hope you enjoy them!

Happy Holidays!

Well, as usual, I have been extremely busy this holiday season. Between school, work (sometimes),and home I don't know how I ever find time for crafting. However, I am so excited to share with you my latest crafting accomplishment! Today, I sold my cards in my very first craft fair! I had a great time and moved out a lot of my cards. Feeling ready to start the new year with a new batch of cards and can't wait to get started crafting again! But before I can do that, I must clean my disastrous craft room!

Fall, Hooray!

Happy Fall everyone!
Tomorrow marks the first of October and the first day of my favorite time of year. I have been to Bath & Body Works already and am currently surrounded in my craft room by the scents of fall!

My apologies for being away from my blog for so long! I am currently getting my teaching credential at Humboldt State University and between my fieldwork classroom and my own classes at night I have had no time to myself. However, tonight is Friday and I deserve a break!

For a few weeks now I have been collecting all the materials I need to make some Halloween cards and these are the first two that I have come up with, hope you like them! New Name, New Level

I have been a busy girl today! I have officially changed the name of my blog and created a new Etsy store that I think not only suites me better but I feel it will help me become more successful in selling my cards and other paper crafts. The new name of my shop means a lot to me and I am happy to share why I chose such an odd name.

When I was 14 years old my Mom Diane passed away very unexpectedly. She was my best friend and I am still dealing with her loss to this day. One major reason why I started to paper craft and believe that this is my true passion is because of my mom. When I was a little girl she got interested in scrap booking and ended up making this fabulous book full of pages of me and my seven siblings. Although I do not scrap book often, I am in love with making cards of all kinds and have been growing in my creative skills so much over the past year. Even though my mom is not here anymore, I look to her for inspiration and I feel that I connect with her every time I am being crafty.

So therefore, this blog, every card I make, and everything I do in my life is to Diane, with love.....

Helllooo Cuttlebug!

I finally gave in and bought a Cuttlebug! I have wanted one for forever and I am so happy to finally take the next step with my card making and paper crafting! 

Many people I know who have one say they use this machine more than anything else they have. I even got the new model with the fold-able handle! It came with a super cute flower folder and I also bought a cute paisley folder! Hopefully tomorrow or later this week I will be debuting some cards made with my cuttlebug!
